Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta (#169010) '2009 designer par Pininfarina Produit en un seul exemplaire

The unique Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta was commissioned by American millionaire Edward Walson and is a modern interpretation of the car from Federico Fellini's famous 1968 film "Toby Dammit". Walson had always dreamed of designing sports cars, and when he saw in the film a gold-plated Ferrari 330 LMB with bodywork by Carrozzeria Fantuzzi, he decided to make his dream come true. He went to the Pininfarina atelier, where he worked with professionals on all phases of the car's construction. A unique Ferrari was built based on the 599 GTB Fiorano. Thanks to the use of carbon fibre, the open-top car weighs only 20 kilograms heavier than the donor, and it took 14 months from the first sketch to the delivery of the car to the customer.
