To mark the year 2015 - the 40th anniversary of the foundation of Giorgio Armani and the 130th birthday of the Piaggio Group - Emporio Armani has designed a special version of the Vespa 946.

Keeping Armani's signature subdued colour palette, the designer has come up with a special combination of greys with subtle hints of green visible only under particular light conditions for the project.

To celebrate 70 years of Vespa, for 2016 the company offered the Primavera, GTS and PX in an exclusive color scheme: the Azzurro 70. This unique paintwork included a dark brown saddle, finished with contrasting beige piping and a Vespa Settantesimo logo placed on the passenger seat. The three Settantesimo models were also characterized by a dedicated graphic on the side fairings and an identification plate on the door of the front glove compartment. Lastly, the wheels were painted in a non-standard color.

A top box bag came standard on the Vespa Settantesimo series, and was made of the same material and color coded to match the saddle. The bag could be mounted on the rear luggage rack, which was standard equipment on all models in the Vespa Settantesimo range.
