Askoll expands its range of electric scooters by introducing the new XKP 80 model, an evolution of the previous XKP launched last year. Compared to the previous model, the lines and shapes remain unchanged, with the design still characterized by a round, slightly slanted headlight and a short tail.

What has changed is the powertrain, which allows this electric scooter to boast greater power and improved range.

The new Askoll XKP 80 is equipped with a new 4.1 kW electric motor (2.7 kW for the previous model) and a torque of 160 Nm. The powertrain is powered by two removable 1.7 kWh batteries (3.4 kWh total). The batteries can be recharged from a standard electrical outlet in about 6 hours.

Thanks to the new Boost function, activated by a button on the handlebars, a maximum speed of 80 km/h can be reached for a limited time. The company claims a range of 101 km for this new model (about 90 km for the previous model).
