At the ceremony for the “Etoiles de l’Observeur du Design 2015”, which took place at the “Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie” in Paris, there were 29 achievements out of 150 competitors that were rewarded, including the New 12MTX from Mecalac, which received an “Etoile du Design” from the Minister for the Economy, Design, Industry and Information Technology on 9 December 2014. The Design Stars honour the provision of design in everyday products and services, both for their technical and practical aspects and for their aesthetics. The New 12MTX will be shown at the “Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie” in Paris until 1st November 2015, within an exhibition bringing together the 150 prizewinning achievements.
